Disappointing news from Contreras via Facebook - he got stopped at the end of the first round. Worst part is he's suspended for 30 days, so he can't fight in UMGG.
It's really too bad. I think he would have made a splash in Golden Gloves.

Saw the Friday brackets and saw no Minnesotans in the elite class. Saw the Barretta won and will be boxing tomorrow (Friday). Not sure about Delorian.

7 Minnesota boxers ranked in the top 10 in the US between Rice st. Circle Of Discipline and Twin Ports we got it in, 1 bronze medalist 1 silver medalist and Michael Barreto now being on the World youth team! It's what we do!

Congratulations and good job Adonis. That will be a great experience for Michael. Years ago when I had Joey Abell and he won the Under-19 Nationals they promised a world tournament and international bouts but nothing ever materialized. So keep on them. Congrats also to Riice St. and Twin Ports.
