Thats alright Javonte. I've been thinking about it and I believe that I'm a true welterweight anyway. I walk around at 150lbs. I wish USA would get the weight divisions back to how they are suppose to be...139, 147, 156.
For example 112 lbs. how many fighters out there really weigh 112lbs in the open division. We as people are getting bigger and bigger. If anything I would take out 112lbs. and start making more weight divisions but at a bigger weight.
119, 125, 132, 139, 147, 156, 162, 168, 174, 184, 200, 200+

Hi Corey! Yeah, people are getting bigger, especially Americans, but there are still many countries that support the 106 and 112's. Heck, we didnt even have many jr's that came in that low! It's all about the "Olympics". Those weight classes arent picked by USA Boxing...they are dictated to us by the olympic committee. There's really not much we can do, but you still have the chance to box at your natural weights at club shows! The only time it is a pain in the *ss is for the tournaments! You going to the show in Morton?
