St. Paul's Tony Lee captured the 132 lb. championship belt at the 1st World Golden Gloves Tournament held this weekend in Hinckley, MN. Tony won a hard fought close bout over Reynoldo Ojeda of Puerto Rico. Duluth's Craig Butler lost a decision in a very exciting bout to Darren Traynor of England. I was not able to make it to the show this weekend. Any body got some good pictures and videos you can load up here? Looks like USA was very successfull this weekend.I know I fought the Irish team twice they were not an easy team and Mexico in the late 90's in Chicago totally destroyed the US team. I fought the Russians in '92 and killed the us team also I thought it was the toughest team for me. Then again the Cuban's they seem to have the same Olympians for years.
