Good night of fights. Tony Lee and Jeremy McLaurin was the best fight of the night. Oscar Soto ended his fight beautifully with 2 body shots that I FELT lol. The super heavyweight fight was..uh... interesting....I wish I had video cause I'd like to see what you all think about it....

I thought the super hwt fight to end the night was disgusting. It left a sour note to what was a great night of fights once again at Brunette's. I want to give it up to Matt Jarrett for keeping his cool, showing up to a hostile environment and just doing what he was there to do which was box. To those that were not there, the big guy and other fighter from Brunette's, George Chute swore, cursed, tossed and bullyed Jarrett the whole fight. Honestly, if he would have showed class and boxed, he probably could have won the fight. He has a big punch and some skills but instead chose to act like a thug. With the huge crowd support, He reminded me a lot of Matt VAnda in his younger days, being from Brunette's, tattooed, wild devoted fans, The big difference being that Vanda always respected his opponent afterwards no matter what and Chute acted like a straight up thug rather then show any kind of respect for the sport, his gym he represented or his opponent. The funny thing is, Jarrett did nothing cheap, nothing at all to warrant the rediculous outbursts from Chute or his crowd. He just boxed. Afterwards Chute remained thuged out, storming around the gym while loads of people stood around screaming physical threats to Jarrett and threatening him once he stepped foot out of the building. It was freaking pathetic. I usually don't touch on too many subjects, but I felt bad for Jarrett after that fight and really just want to give it up to him once again for showing class in a messed up situation.

I felt bad for Jarrett and MArk Nelson cause they both had to be escorted to their cars by a police officer. But there were quite a few people who hung out after the fights to help Jarrett get out of the building. Mark Nelson is a good ref. Sad it had to come to that.

I wasn't able to stay too long after so didn't see what happened. It is great to hear people stayed after like that to help. I new there were police officers and new nothing would happen and that Bobby and the guys would take care of things. I should clarify that for the most part everybody in the crowd was a very supportive boxing crowd. I was referring to the groups of people that were screaming those threats during and after the fight. Just don't want to bunch the good and bad together by making a general statement. And yeah I also feel the same way about Mark Nelson, what a tough spot to be in, but he still did the right thing regardless in deducting points to try to get control of the fight.
I hate talking about that mess though because like I said, the other fights were great. Tony Lee vs Jeremy McLaurin was awsome, Vasquez-Herroff, Fort-Brant, etc...they were all good

i agree it was low point with superheavy weight bout that guy is a 320 pound punk not common for brunette fighter wether you like them or not they all bring class to the ring it's good to see Delano henton Back this time at 200 pounds he should win the u.m.g.g at heavy. I think he would be the first to win a G.g at super heavy then go down weight and win another g.g i may be wrong if somone could check it out for me?
See you at Hinckley Bye.

Back in the 80's, John Sargent won as a Super Heavy and then some 30 plus pounds and won as a heavyweight.

What was with every seat in Brunette's being "reserved" Is is really standing room only for people that are not from Brunette's gym? Good fights but bad host spot.

So, is anyone going to tell us how and why boxers are being shifted around regions? I thought that wasn't okay......
For example, Matt Jarrett is from St. Cloud but fought out of Brunettes (Region 2)
AND Jake Walters is from Duluth and fought out of Region I (at Uppercut)
What's going on with that? Everyone is just gonna let that slip past them I guess.
Oh...and I thought Luis Molina isn't even a citizen, how the hellll did he even enter the Golden Gloves tourney at all?

I thought the same. The only round i had Fort winning was round 4. Brandt took the first two rounds without a doubt, clearly outpointing Fort, the third could have went either way. I couldnt believe it when I heard the judges give it to cerresseo, but it didnt seem like to many other ppl at brunettes thought the same as I did.
