At the 2nd Annual tournament of Champions in Dallas, Texas, Dustin(age 15) and Dillon(age 13) Mason took belts home for defeating their opponents in their championship rounds. Both boys were victorius at the weight of 125lbs. and really impressed the boxers, coaches, and hosts of the event in Dallas. Cedric Davis (age 14), fought at the weight of 201lbs., but was fortunate to get a walk-over, considereing he has never fought a bout. He was also given a belt because of this walk-over; he had no opponents. Dustin and Dillon fought in the open category, while Cedric fought in the novice division. It is said that next year this event (the 3rd Annual tournament of champions ), will be even grander, including two boxing rings being ref'd at the same time. The Mason's are assumed to attend this event next year and defend their new title: Champions. Like I said before, the mason boys are at it again.

It's great to hear that the boys did so well down in texas. Isn't it their first time recieving belts in a championship round? That's AWESOME! Dillon fought a great latino fighter who came out expecting to win, but lost because Dillon drew focus, intensity, skill, and above all, true heart into the match and came out with a belt and the title of champion. That's pretty cool. I would have payed money to see Cedric fight, but at that weight and age, I suppose it's hard to find someone else to compete with. Dustin did well too from what I hear. His opponent was a good adversary, but Dustin pulled out all the stops in the 2nd and 3rd round by landing some shocking blows. I'm still surprised to this day that Dustin hasn't just knocked someone out cold-or at least knocked out a few teeth in the process.
Peace Y'all
